The Brandsmiths is an intimate brand identity design agency, established in 2002 in Melbourne, Australia, with a unique skill set comprising design, trademark, naming and brand.
We’ve been fortunate to have had relationships with visionary organisations, small and large, who have placed their trust in us at critical milestones in their evolution. We help them communicate their values and vision with greater clarity and passion, setting the stage for stronger rapport with audiences.

Working closely with organisations, we help them clarify who they are and help them find natural ways to express that. We spend time getting to know a client, their business, targets and aspirations.
Our approach to the creative execution of the strategy results in a unique, consistent visual vocabulary across all media and applications. Print, packaging, environment and interactive have different properties, materials and limits. We are passionate about seeking the best expression for each in support of the larger brand context.
Craig Sayers, principal of The Brandsmiths, has over 20 years experience in the design, marketing and advertising industries as graphic designer, art director and creative director, winning several awards. He has worked in Australia and internationally on projects of all kinds and scope – from blue chip clients like Coca Cola, Adidas, General Motors, Levi’s, Maserati and Yellow Pages to startups and SMEs like Cafeuro, Rutherford, Playgro and Advanced Skin Technology.
